Made by a mum.
Brought to Australia by another.
Busy Baby was invented to give families one less thing to chase across the floor. We're the only Australian sellers โ and we love that we get to share it locally.

CaraJane Millar is a mum of a very busy baby โ she has worked in early childhood development for 20+ years and is now an Associate Professor of speech-language pathology.
In late 2025, she was in the US for a speaking engagement when she came across Busy Baby. She and her family were instantly hooked โ and immediately wondered why these products hadn't made their way to Australia. So she met with Beth, the founder, and the rest is history.
That backstory matters because CaraJane doesn't just sell these products. She understands why they work โ how the silicone mats and tether systems support sensory regulation, fine-motor development, and calmer mealtimes, not just tidier ones. Recently living through the trenches of the transition to solids she could not live without these products.
Finally, when CaraJane backs a product, it's because the evidence does too.
Busy Baby was invented by Beth Fynbo Benike, a mum and US Army Veteran who was tired of the constant "drop, pick up, repeat" routine at every meal out. She designed a silicone mat that suctions to the table โ with built-in tethers to keep toys, spoons and cups attached.
It worked so well, the brand made it onto Shark Tank, won a Good Housekeeping Parenting Award, and is now in over half a million homes worldwide. You can read Beth's full story on the original Busy Baby site.
